Peter Harrington offer free shipping on UK orders placed through this website. We offer free shipping to the USA and the rest of the world for website orders over £200. Free shipping applies to all rare books, maps and prints. Only framed items are excluded.

The offer of free shipping is applicable to website orders only, and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.

UK delivery times are usually next day. Delivery times overseas are approximately 5–10 working days.

For overseas orders of £200 and under, we charge a flat fee of £10 to European countries, or £15 to all other destinations worldwide, for signed-for air mail delivery.

Shipped items are expertly packed by us and fully insured. Our shipments require signature on delivery.

Urgent deliveries:

We offer courier delivery worldwide for a flat fee of £50 per shipment. Delivery times are 1–2 business days to New York/New Jersey and Europe; 2–3 business days to the rest of the USA; and 2–5 days for the rest of the world. We use UPS for our courier deliveries. Please note that UPS will not deliver to PO box addresses.

Delivery address:

As all our books are unique and high value items, our credit card supplier requires us to ship all internet orders to the billing address of the card.

In certain circumstances, we may be able to arrange delivery to a more convenient address, such as a work address. Circumstances include:

• Existing customers well known to us
• Customers using an American Express card with an alternative delivery address on file with their card issuer
• Professionals able to offer confirmation of their work address

For cleared funds by wire transfer or bank cheque, we can deliver to any convenient address.
