The Last Words of Dutch Schultz. A Fiction in the Form of a Film Script.

First edition thus, first printing. Inscribed by the author on the title page, "For Allen Ginsberg, all the best, from the Dutchman, William S. Burroughs." The front free endpaper has an inscription, partly erased, in Ginsberg's hand, ending "bought 2'nd Hand 1982 sometime". Two scenarios suggest themselves: either Ginsberg found the book in a second-hand shop in 1982 and had Burroughs inscribe it retrospectively, or Burroughs inscribed the book for him on publication, Ginsberg lost it (or gave it away), and then bought it back.
