O'CONNOR, Flannery.

Rare books by Flannery O’Connor, including first editions and signed first editions of works such as The Violent Bear it Away.

Flannery O’Connor (1925–1964) was an American author and critic associated with the Southern Gothic movement. As a devout Roman Catholic living in the Protestant South, much of O’Connor’s work grappled with issues of religion and morality, and she invested her work with an irony, violence, and dark humour often described as grotesque.
