Brian Rust had produced a discography of Jazz Records A to Z: 1897-1931, extended to 1941 in the second edition, but this left the period of the massive proliferation of published jazz untouched; " It was Jorgen Grunnet Jepsen of Copenhagen who undertook that monumental task.
