Elisabeth Frink was a British sculptor and print maker. Born in Suffolk, she studied at the Guildhall School of Art and the Chelsea School of Art. In the postwar period she became one of a group of sculptors known at the Geometry of Fear school. Her work examines the human form with a focus on masculine elements and the form of horses. Liverpool Cathedral, Chatsworth House and Ragley Hall are all home to some of Frink's most important sculptures.
