South East View of Datchet Bridge.
A delightful view of Datchet Bridge, which was built in 1706 and it replaced an earlier ferry that would cross the Thames. The bridge was demolished in 1851, the only instance of a bridge to be permanently lost over the river Thames. Windsor Castle is seen in the background.
