A very attractive plan of mid-17th century Cologne, with title at top centre, flanked by the city arms, with lists of important churches along left margin, and gates and marketplaces on right margin. This town plan was one of many engravings originally published in Merian’s Theatrum Europaeum that were incorporated into later editions of Gottfried’s chronicles.
