A very detailed, and handsome engraving of Guy’s Hospital, published not long after it was founded by Thomas Guy in 1721. The hospital was founded and established to treat discharged ‘incurable’ patients from the nearby St Thomas’ Hospital in Southwark. Published in Stowe’s A Survey of The Cities of London & Westminster.
