SOCIETY FOR THE DIFFUSION OF USEFUL KNOWLEDGE
An attractive and quite striking plan of the important Lancastrian city and port of Liverpool. In addition to the detailed plan itself, there are three inset views and plans of the city as it was in the years of 1729 & 1650, together with a view of the Black Rock Lighthouse. Underneath the plan there are a number of elevations displaying Liverpool’s prominent public buildings. Published by Charles Knight for the S.D.U.K.
