A very attractive map of London and its eighteenth century environs, which were comprised of parts of Middlesex, Kent, Essex, Surrey, Berkshire and Hertfordshire. The map is beautifully coloured, and has 5 splendid “birds-eye” views of Windsor Castle, Hampton Court, Kensington Palace, Greenwich Hospital and Chelsea Hospital. Title on banner below (post Union) Royal arms of Queen Anne and angel with trumpet and olive branch. The map extant is from Chertsey to Watford, from Sidcup to Enfield.
