A rich selection of fresh stock, with a cover design from a 15th-century block book leaf, starring two landmarks of early printing: the 1482 Ratdolt Euclid and the editio princeps of Homer (Florence, 1488/9). Foundational works in the development of human thought include Darwin's Origin of Species, Descartes's Discours de la Methode, Locke's Essay on Humane Understanding, Swift's Gulliver's Travels, Bacon's Instauratio Magna, and Machiavelli's Prince.
