Encounters with the Archdruid.
First edition, first printing. Presentation copy, inscribed by the author “for Congressman Robert E. Jones, with the compliments of Hibben Ziesing via John Mcphee, 8/25/71” (with “Hibben Ziesing” in a distinct hand), together with a laid-in typed covering letter signed by Hibben Ziesing addressed to Jones on McPhee’s behalf. Ziesing (1900?-1989) was an industrial chemist, like McPhee a graduate of Princeton University and local resident, whence their association. Jones (1912-1997) was a Democrat congressman from Alabama.
