No Bed Of Her Own.
First edition, first printing. Author’s first novel. Filmed as ” No Man of Her Own” in 1932, which starred Clark Gable and Carole Lombard. While this first novel was a huge success, Lewton’s later novels were not so, he decided to devote his energies to Hollywood first working with David O Selznick on films such as Tale of Two Cities and Gone With the Wind then moving on to head RKO’s horror unit, with his first production being “Cat People” in 1942. A very uncommon Hollywood novel.
