And a Poem by Ernest M. Hemingway.
First edition, first printing, and one of a limited edition of 525 numbered copies. This volume contains five poems (“The Faun”, “Dying Gladiator”, “Portrait”, “The Lilacs”, and “L’Apres-Midi d’un Faune”) and three short prose works (“New Orleans”, “On Criticism”, and “Verse Old and Nascent: A Pilgrimage”), all of which had previously appeared in the New Orleans magazine The Double Dealer. The Hemingway poem appears on the back cover. A beautiful copy of this uncommon publication.
