Love from Evelyn.” Lady Juliet Duff was introduced to Evelyn Waugh through Diana Cooper, a mutual friend. Waugh stayed for the weekend at Bulbridge, Wilton, near Salisbury from 29 June to 1 July 1934. With Lady Juliet’s bookplate to the front pastedown. The book was first published in London in 1934.
