Presentation copy inscribed by Erich Mendelsohn on the front free endpaper, “To Alexander and Cally Cochran, Erich Mendelsohn, [VII ?] 53”, and with the recipients’ bookplate on the front pastedown. Alexander Cochran was an American architect, who founded the firm Cochran, Stephenson and Donkervoet. This monograph, to which Mendelsohn contributed, was published for the Facoltà d’Architettura del Politenico in Milan.
