Complete set of the third edition of this richly illustrated survey of English furniture. Originally published between 1904–8, a second edition appeared in 1925–8.

4 volumes, folio. Original red cloth, bevelled boards, titles to spines and front boards gilt, top edges gilt, others untrimmed. Coloured frontispiece with tissue guard to The Age of Mahogany, 59 similar plates and numerous black and white illustrations in text. Spines a touch sunned, extremities slightly bumped, occasional soiling to cloth, endpapers tanned, and minor spotting to edges. An excellent set.
