First edition, first impression, of this book with contributions by Beveridge, F. C. Benham, A. L. Bowley, T. E. Gregory, J. R. Hicks, W. T. Layton, A. Plant, L. C. Robbins and G. L. Schwartz. This is the copy of Arnold Plant, with his ownership inscription to the front free endpaper, and is additionally signed on the title page by each of the contributors. The book also includes, laid in, a typed letter copy from D. H. Robertson reporting to Beveridge from Austria on the subject of Free Trade, two typed letters signed from Beveridge to Plant, and a typed letter signed from Beveridge’s secretary to Plant, enclosing a typed letter copy from the publishers of this book concerning the possibility of a second edition.

Octavo. Original grey cloth, titles to spine and front board in red. Spine a trifle faded and corners very lightly rubbed. An excellent copy.
