A Woman’s Reliquary.
First edition, first impression. Edward Dowden (1843–1913) was an Irish literary critic, Shakespeare scholar, and poet, and this collection of his poems was published pseudonymously. The editor, Elizabeth Yeats, has inscribed this copy “To Philip & Sophia Miller friends of – Edward & Elizabeth Dowden – this little book is given with many memories, April 1914”. Scarce.
