First edition, first printing. One of 15 copies inscribed by the author on the front free endpaper together with a signed drawing: “Texas pussywillows? Absurd! Moon, anyhow. San Francisco. 27:IV:60.” From a print run of 60 copies in the boards (there were also 1250 copies in wrappers).
Quarto. Original black cloth-backed grey boards with green woodblock illustration by Robert LaVigne, title to spine gilt and front cover black. Boards bowed, a little toned and with some faint marks, internally clean. An excellent copy.
