Ford has later inscribed the book on p. i beneath the list of her published works with details of her 1919 book, Snickerty Nick, which Rackham also illustrated.

Small quarto (234 176 mm). Recent blue half calf, blue cloth sides, title to spine gilt, top edge gilt. With the original green cloth front cover, front endpapers, and illustrated title page bound in at rear. Frontispiece and plate by Arthur Rackham, and illustrations to text by Lauren Ford. Some occasional foxing to contents; an excellent copy.
