Illustrated by Robert Frankenberg.
First US edition, first printing, presentation copy inscribed on the half title verso, “Bless you darling here is the fruit of our very considerable labours. Love Noel 1958”. This book comes from the library of June Allen, Streatfeild’s amanuensis and proof-reader – a nice association.
