First edition, first impression, with the 32 pp. catalogue of books. Signed by the author on the front free endpaper, “Arthur Morrison, 1894”. The first book from the author who went on to write A Child of the Jago. Bookplate of the American writer on Wicca, Scott Cunningham, showing a unicorn designed by the English wood engraver Eric Gill.

Octavo. Original green cloth, titles gilt to spine and upper board. Housed in a yellow and orange patterned slipcase. Covers somewhat marked. An excellent copy.
