There was also a Suppl?ment which led Yamey to bracket Edmond Degrange with Jones since he “initiated or publicized improvements in the keeping of account books. Their work no doubt encouraged further experimentation, including the use of multi-column records ….” Intro to ICAEW. In Bywater and Yamey, p. 212, Degrange’s book is described as “by far the best known work on the subject in French throughout the nineteenth century”.
Octavo (201 x 128 mm), pp. xvi, 362. Contemporary half calf and green marbled boards, spine decorated and lettered in gilt. With two folding tables. A little marginal dampstaining in the first quires; a very good copy.
