First edition in book form, limited to 95 copies of which 1 to 25 were printed on Amalfi paper and the remainder on Ingres d’Arches. This is number 25. “Wratislaw lived long enough to see his inclusion by A. J. A. Symons in An Anthology of ‘Nineties Verse (1928). Perhaps too close in style and subject to Arthur Symons to achieve a truly independent voice, he has remained an essential component of the picture of 1890s poetry” (ODNB). These three essays first appeared in The Artist and Journal of Home Culture, 1893-94.

Octavo (190 124 mm), 24 pp. Wire-stitched in the original marbled light card wraps, printed paper label mounted to front panel as issued. Housed in a grey cloth-backed folding case within matching maroon slipcase as issued. One wood-engraving by Aubrey Beardsley. A fine copy.
