Octavo (200 x 130 mm). Original fine binding, marbled half levant morocco, marbled boards with single gilt rules, spine in compartments with delicate gilt tooling and titles direct, top edge gilt, marbled endpapers, light purple silk page-marker. Portrait frontispiece of the author with tissue-guard, title page and headpieces illuminated by hand. A couple of tiny nicks to board edges, small mark to lower edge of frontispiece, tiny water stain to two early pages. An excellent copy.
