Signed limited edition on Japanese vellum, number 46 of 100 copies signed by the illuminator and Elbert Hubbard, founder of the Roycroft artisan community, or by one of his Roycrofters whom he had trained to imitate his signature. An attractive example of Roycroft presswork.

Original fine binding, marbled half morocco, marbled boards with single gilt rules, spine in compartments with gilt foliate tooling and lettered in gilt, top edge gilt, marbled endpapers. Portrait frontispiece with tissue guard. Hinges tender, tips slightly rubbed, boards a little soiled, slight stain to verso of rear free endpaper, occasional minor foxing; an excellent copy.
