16 volumes, octavo (222 145 mm). Finely bound in pebbled brown leather, titles to spine in gilt, raised bands, single rule to boards gilt, dentelles gilt, floral motif endpapers. Illustrated with engravings throughout. Spines uniformly faded to light brown, slightest of shelf wear to bindings, else an excellent set.
