First editions, first printings. Gentlemen Prefer Blondes inscribed by the author on the front free endpaper to Harry Ruby, the songwriter of I Wanna Be Loved By You, performed by Marilyn Monroe in Some Like It Hot.

2 works, octavo. Original red cloth, spine and front board lettered in gilt; original black cloth-backed black and white patterned boards, spine lettered in gilt. With the dust jackets. Black and white illustrations in the text. Blondes: A fine copy in the jacket hash some stains to panels, toned spine and some small chips to extremities. Brunettes: Bookseller’s ticket to rear pastedown and note to rear flap of the jacket. A fine copy in the jacket that has a toned spine and some nicks to extremities. A very attractive set.
