FARR, Florence, Bernard Shaw & W. B. Yeats.
First edition, first impression; one of a limited 500 numbered copies. Florence Farr (1860-1917), a London-based actress of great beauty and dynamism, was deeply involved with both Yeats and Bernard Shaw, both theatrically (acting in plays written by them, often specifically for her) and romantically (more with Shaw than Yeats, for whom she was more muse than lover). She was also a member, with Yeats, of the Golden Dawn.
