Large octavo. Original green cloth, titles to spine gilt. Frontispiece and 46 plates, one of which is double-page, folding map, illustrations within the text. Cloth unevenly faded, light spots to fore-edge, small spots of tape residue to front pastedown, free endpapers toned, browning to page 8 from inserted material. A very good copy.
