A Handful of Dust.
First US edition, first printing; originally published in the UK in September the same year. “The American edition varies from the first British edition in a number of ways, and probably derives from an earlier typescript version or from uncorrected proofs of the British first edition” (Murray Davis, “Note on the Text”, A Handful of Dust, Penguin Classics edition, 2012). Scarce in the dust jacket.
