First edition in English, first impression, UK issue. It was translated from the 1915 German novel (entitled Hindenburgs Einmarsch in London), and published in the US later the same year. A fantasy novel which offers an alternative ending to the war, wherein Germany defeats England.
Octavo. Original yellow cloth, titles and single rules to spine and front board black. With the dust jacket. Ownership signature to front free endpaper. Spine slightly rolled, boards gently bowed, minor foxing to top edge. A very good copy in the bright jacket, with some shallow chips and nicks to extremities.
