First edition, first impression. A specially bound presentation copy inscribed by the author to her mother on the front free endpaper: “To the author of the author, from the author.” Her third book of poetry was published on 11 November 1921 in an edition of either 750 or 1,000 copies.
Octavo. Original red linen-backed marbled boards, printed paper labels to spine and front board, top edge gilt. Top of boards lightly toned, endpapers tanned, mild foxing to text block margins. Otherwise an excellent copy.
