Limited issue. Number 39 of 50 copies, this for Cyril Connolly, with his name supplied in Fedden’s hand. This journal was part of the literary flowering in wartime Egypt, of which the periodical Personal Landscape, partly edited by Fedden, is perhaps the best-known creation. From the library of Anthony Hobson, with his bookplate to the inner lid of the solander box; Hobson (1921-2014) was the director of Sotheby’s and noted bibliophile.

Octavo, pp. 24. Original green wrappers, title and vignette to front cover in black, designed by Roland Pym. Housed in a custom black quarter morocco solander box. Spine sunned, wrappers a little creased. An excellent copy.
