First edition. An unusually well-preserved copy of this highly attractive piece of Edwardian book production, the blocking and enamels bright and unflaked.

Octavo. Original sage green cloth, title gilt to the spine together with the shield of the City of London in colours, and to the front board, within a triple fillet panel in white, with the full arms of the City, top edge gilt. Coloured frontispiece and 3 other similar plates, 16 black and white plates. Spine a little dulled, some foxing front, back and edges, but overall a very good copy indeed.
