Rare offprint of the paper which pointed out that the quantum electrodynamics of the time led to false predictions of the frequency of the absorption and emission spectra of atoms. This led directly to the breakdown of theory and the revolutionary work in quantum electrodynamics by Feynman, Schwinger, and Tomonaga.

20 page pamphlet, staple-bound. Spine split at the head, small ink inscription to upper wrapper. Excellent condition.
