First edition, first printing. Rushed out within two months of the death of the notorious couple in a roadside ambush in Louisiana, this sensational “ghosted” joint biography – drawing credibility but very little new information from the families – was one of the primary sources of the romantic legend of Bonnie and Clyde. A bright copy in the striking pictorial jacket.

Octavo. Original vermilion cloth lettered in black on spine and front cover, black endpapers. With the dust jacket. Dual portrait frontispiece, tailpiece. Jacket with minor nicks to extremities of spine. An excellent copy.
