Large quarto. Original paper wrappers, printed on japon, front cover lettered in red and black, edges uncut; with printed dust jacket. All within original presentation red cloth box, lettered and decorated in gilt. Colour frontispiece and 40 black and white illustrations. Contemporary ownership inscription on reverse of half-title page. Box lightly bumped at extremities, lacks ties; dust jacket slightly browned with a few marks to front, an excellent copy.
