First edition. Uncommon, OCLC lists just 4 copies world-wide. Cassella were the foremost producers of these aniline dyes in the late nineteenth century, in 1925 they became part of IG Farben. "In this new work we present to our friends an exhaustive treatise on the dyeing of unions [wool-cotton mixes] based on the present state of this industry."

Octavo ( 246 × 159 mm) Original plum half sand-grained cloth on black linen boards, sage green patterned endpapers. Double frontispiece of the company's works, over 400 mounted fabric samples. A little rubbed but overall very good.
