First Edition, Limited Issue. One of just 280 numbered copies signed by the artist each with a separate signed plate in a pocket at the end. One of the great caricature artist's best selections including images of Balfour, Osbert & Sacheverell Sitwell, Austin Chamberlain, Bertrand Russell, Lytton Strachey, Shaw, Gosse, Wells, Sickert, Lloyd George, Kipling, Conrad, and the famous image entitled Some Persons of "The Nineties" with all the usual suspects depicted.
Quarto. Original green cloth, titles to upper board and spine gilt, all edges gilt. 52 tipped in plates, and 1 loosely inserted. Minor browning to endpapers spine just a little faded, cloth slightly marked. Excellent.
