Quarto. Original green cloth, titles and decoration to spine and upper board gilt, brown endpapers. Tipped-in frontispiece and 49 plates on brown paper with printed tissue-guards, 7 full-page engravings. Bookplate of Herbert A. Bruce, Canadian surgeon and Lt.-Gov. of Ontario. Gift inscription dated 1918 to title page. Binding rubbed, discoloured abrasion to upper board. A very good copy.
