First Edition, First Printing, First Issue Binding. With the author's signed presentation inscription to the half title page, "To Gary Miller – Cordially – Ayn Rand 11/3/72". Rand's key work: very scarce inscribed.
Octavo. Original red cloth, titles to upper board and spine gilt, top edge stained red, fore edge untrimmed. Housed in a burgundy quarter morocco solander box made by The Chelsea Bindery. Contents a little shaken, cloth a little dusty, spine rather dull. Very good.
