Schuyler Chapin (1923–2009) was an Assistant General Manager of the Metropolitan Opera and Commissioner of Cultural Affairs for New York City. He was a friend of Bernstein's and the author of Leonard Bernstein: Notes From a Friend.
Octavo. Original red cloth, titles to spine and upper board gilt, red top-stain. With the dust jacket. Spine slightly rolled. An excellent copy in the lightly rubbed jacket.
