Octavo. Original blue cloth, titles to spine and pictorial decoration to upper board in blue, pictorial endpapers. With the dust jacket. Frontispiece and illustrations throughout by Mary Shepard. Spine rolled, edges of boards and ends of spine a little faded. A very good copy in the rubbed and nicked jacket with a chip from the front flap, several closed tears and associated creasing, and tanned spine panel.
