Original artwork used to illustrate the final page of Winnie-the-Pooh. Initialled by Shepard and captioned by him in pencil on the reverse. An iconic image, it comes from the last chapter "In which Christopher Robin gives a Pooh party, and we say good-bye". "He nodded and went out ...and in a moment I heard Winnie-the-Pooh bump, bump, bump going up the stairs behind him." Provenance: from the collection of Pat McInally.
