7 volumes, large octavo. All finely bound by The Chelsea Bindery in full morocco in their original colours of red, blue, green, purple, maroon, navy blue and black. Each volume has been beautifully and carefully enhanced with an inset leather onlay after the original cover image. The covers have been further decorated as the original, with gilt lettering. Each spine has five raised bands with a single gilt line mitre between each raised band, lettered in gilt and further decorated with a star in the corner of each panel. Ivory silk doublures. Each volume is presented within its own matching leather entry slipcase. A wonderful example of the binder's art by The Chelsea Bindery.
