Contemporary tan calf, red morocco label, elaborate tooling to spine, raised bands, marbled boards with pictorial block of Huddersfield College to front board, endpapers and edges. Engraved frontispiece and further illustrations throughout. Remnants of a bookplate to front pastedown, a few leaves lightly foxed, boards rubbed, otherwise in excellent condition.
