First edition, in a fine vellucent binding by Chivers.
Octavo (175 × 105mm). Contemporary vellucent binding by Chivers, ruling and flower tools to boards and turn-ins gilt, marbled endpapers, top edge gilt, others untrimmed. Gift inscriptions to front blank. Binding slightly rubbed and dulled, knock to edge of upper board, small split in vellum at head of spine, a few spots to upper board, some smaller spots to spine, occasional light spotting to contents. A very good copy.
