Contemporary tan calf, black morocco label, elaborate decoration to spine, raised bands, rules to boards with cornerpieces, crest to front board, marbled endpapers and edges. Engraved frontispiece of the author. Bookplate to front pastedown, some mild damp staining to frontispiece, spine ever so slightly rubbed and boards a little marked, overall in excellent condition.
